Girls in Tech Will Host its Official LA Launch Party
Wednesday, November 26th, 2008As most of you already know, Girls in Tech is celebrating its official Los Angeles chapter launch with a party on December 4th at Causecast and Mahalo’s headquarters in Santa Monica.
As the founder of Girls in Tech, I’m really excited to be expanding the organization to the city that I grew up in. The tech sector in Los Angeles has grown tremendously since I was a kid and it’s exciting to see a variety of cross-breed industries sprouting up such as fashion-tech, digital media, enterprise-tech, talent-tech, and casual gaming.
Through this chapter launch event we hope to increase our Girls in Tech membership base in Los Angeles, create awareness around the Girls in Tech concept to women around the globe, and most importantly have fun!
