Welcome 2008!
Monday, December 31st, 2007Wow, time REALLY flies when you’re having fun. It seems like just yesterday I was packing my bags to relocate from Miami to San Francisco to start a career in tech PR. Not knowing that this space would be so fruitful, my time, two point five years to be exact, was consumed with crazy tech events, start up launches, video blogging, creating a much needed organization, Girls in Tech, and a non-profit, Smitten With Mittens.
I guess having lots of dreams and passions makes life interesting and it makes each month, week, day, minute go by fast!
This is an exciting time. I wouldn’t have been able to do achieve most of my dreams if it weren’t for advances in the Internet and cool, useful tools to help communicate, design and promote within the right audiences. Some of my favorites include Facebook (everyone can attest to this. I’m on Facebook like five hours a day!), Twitter, Flickr, MyQuire, Skype, WordPress (of course!), I’minlikewithyou, Wikipedia, Digg, PB Wiki, YouTube, Blip.tv, Yahoo 9, Hi5, Ning, to name a few.
Ahhh, I love technology. I never thought I could dig it so; it’s infectious. I always want to know about the newest, easiest, consolidating resource on the net, because I strongly believe that the World Wide Web is the future of business, media, entertainment and most importantly COMMUNICATION amongst the global masses.
Now, let’s get all of “this” to go green and we’ll be all set.
