STITCHER LAUNCHES PERSONALIZED AUDIO APPLICATION IN APPLE’S APP STORE
A few days ago Stitcher, a leader in the Radio 2.0 revolution announced that its personalized news and talk radio application is now available in the Apple App Store. It’s available as a free download, Stitcher allows listeners to stream personalized stations filled with shows on their favorite topics and from their most trusted news sources to their iPhone or iPod touch.
Stitcher’s new native application improves upon the listening experience and usability over Stitcher’s previous web application product by engaging the iPhone’s core audio and animation components. Developing with the Apple SDK has enabled Stitcher to offer a number of features not possible in the browser-based version including rich personalization options, constant playback, and easy-to-use controls.
