Have a boring job? Virtual bargain shopping is the cure for you!

Not all of us work at Ogilvy and have amazingly fun and exciting jobs that occupy our brainpower every second of the day. So what do people do when they are bored out of their minds at work? They turn to online shopping sites for amusement and to utilize that lil’ number on the lil’ plastic card like it was out of style.

Rather-Be-Shopping.com is a perfect way to pass the time or to get rid of those “boredom blues.” The site is updated daily with the best online coupons and bargains on American’s favorite online stores and ecommerce sites. The idea behind the website is to save consumers a few bucks with coupons while shopping online. There is nothing worse than paying full price when you don’t have to.

I also LOVE Overstock.com, a site which aggregates left-over merchandise or just random “stuff” online and sells it for a margin of the price. Consumers can purchase Gucci bags, Ralph Lauren socks or your favorite perfume for a fraction of what you’d pay at a brick and mortar shop or at a typical, virtual store or outlet.

This site was started in December 2000. Rather-Be-Shopping.com has been mentioned on MSNBC.com, The Detroit Free Press, Washington Post Holiday Shopping Guide (2001), NBC4 in Columbus, Ohio, and WebBound (2002 Summer Edition) to name a few publications. Also, this site enables users to share their money saving success stories involving the use of any coupons people have stumbled across the website.
